At this stage, if a question is asked once, it is frequent... and this is you're one stop shop for all the answers!
What is with the bells?

We've had a few people asking what the deal is with the bells. It seems those in Scotland have never heard the saying "I'll be there with bells on"! It's a statement that shows a level of excitement about being at an event, that you're eager to come.

There's a broader explanation for all those who are curious found here.

What's Jenny's dress like?
It's white... and that's all we're gonna tell ya! That's all Howie knows about it as well!
What are the bridesmaid's wearing?
We're much more likely to give an answer for this one, but won't. But they will look stunning!
What is Howie wearing to the wedding?
He and the boys will be wearing suits.
What are the guests meant to wear?
We haven't put a dress code on the invitations, as you may have noticed. We figure you can wear what you like to wear and feel comfortable in. This isn't a formal wedding by any means, but please don't turn up in tracky dacks! Just wear something that looks nice :) And bring a pair of sunglasses if you are coming to the reception. Hopefully it's a sunny day in the gardens!
What time will the ceremony and reception be?
The ceremony starts at 12noon, at Thornleigh Community Baptist Church. And we dare say, Jenny won't be all that fashionably late. She's a punctual girl. So we recommend getting there by noon to ensure you're not walking Jenny down the aisle.

We anticipate the ceremony will be less than an hour long.

The reception starts at 3pm, and is a cocktail event in the grounds of Eden Gardens. The festivities will cease at 6pm. We are asking, on behalf of Eden Gardens, that people arrive at the venue at 3pm and not before - as the place is still open for business until 5pm, and they don't want to be overcrowded by early wedding guests. Thankyou for your understanding!
What colour is the church's carpet?
"Ugly". Nah, I'm sure there is worse. The carpet is patterned, and it's a purpley, bluey, grey sort of thing. Means it doesn't stain much, and it dries quickly. GAP316 has proved that.
Why aren't you having the traditional dance between the husband and wife?
Well, neither of us like to dance (besides silly dancing, or the office dance). So why force ourselves to do it in front of a couple of hundred people?!
What kind of cake are you having?
It will be a very yummy chocolate mud cake, made by Chuckie and iced by her mum - we've had a sample and it's so so so good! Actually, Jenny sampled it, but Howie was too sick to eat anything. You'll have to wait and see the design though. Not sharing any info on that :) So no fruit cake or marsipan (however you spell it). Hoorah!
Will there be heaps of food?
Aah, an important question. We are having a cocktail reception. There will be plenty of delicious food on offer - sandwich, bagel and fruit platters, cold canapes, cakes a little later on, and plenty of soft drink and juice, as well as a bar tab.

However, as the reception is from 3-6pm, it is not designed to be a substitute for lunch or dinner. So we recommend that after the ceremony you might like to grab a bite to eat for lunch - check out our restaurant listing on this site. And then after the reception, knock yourself out with dinner somewhere - if you can fit anymore in!!
